Limits, Costs, Policy - The Fine Details

By far our most common hunt package is the 3-day hunt with 3 morning hunts guaranteed and up to 2 evening hunts if necessary. 3-day hunts are chosen due to daily and possession limits which are detailed below. A very limited number of 4-5 day options are also available.

Groups consist of a minimum of 6 hunters and max of 8. If you desire to have fewer than 6 hunters in your group and still have the Lodge to yourself, this option is available as long as your group pays for the equivalent cost of 6 hunters. Groups of 5 will have other hunters added after discussion with you.

Bag Limits

Dark Geese (includes all Canada and White-Fronted/Specklebelly)
Daily Limit: 8 total. Which can be all of one species or combination of all dark geese totaling 8
Possession Limit: 24 total. Of these 24, all can be one species or a combination of the two.

Ducks (includes Mallard, Pintail, and Teal Ducks)
Daily Limit: 8 total. Of these 8, at this time there are no specific limits on any species of ducks.
Possession Limit: 24 total. Of these 24, all can be one species or a combination of all duck species.

Snow/Ross Geese (includes Blue Geese)
Daily Limit: 50 total. Snow geese are not specifically targeted in the fall as an individual hunt because of their unpredictability and tendency to feed in fields within a half-mile of protected wildlife sanctuaries. This makes them illegal to hunt in many parts of our hunting zones. However, we will not hold you back when they come in!
Possession Limit: No limit. Can you tell these are overpopulated?

For cancellations made within 91-180 days of your hunt date, your paid hunt costs to this point will be transferred to a trip at a later date in the season or the following year(s) - pending availability.

Cancellation within 90 days of your scheduled hunt date will result in 75% of your paid hunt costs being non-refundable and 25% moved to a trip at a later date. Unless:

  • If WE find a replacement hunter to fill your spot for the date you had booked, 100% of your paid hunt costs will be moved to a future date.

  • If YOU can find a replacement hunter to fill your spot for the date you had booked, 100% of your paid hunt costs will be returned to you if the replacement hunter pays for their hunt costs. Or your replacement can refund you directly.

All deferred hunt deposits must be used within 2 future seasons after the initial booking date or they will become non-refundable.

Cancellation insurance can be purchased by various providers. If you are unsure of your ability to attend in the fall or due to the unforeseen difficulties that a Covid 19 pandemic created that was no fault of our hunters or us, and the unforeseen future influences that can be created by government interference to disrupt your lives and our business, we will no longer be extending hunts for any reason or cancellation of this nature.  It is your choice and risk to purchase insurance or not, but we will not be refunding or extending hunts now or in the future if unforeseen events disrupt booked hunts. We leave it up to our hunters whether you obtain Cancellation Insurance for your trip.
