The abundance of pea and cereal grain fields has created some of the most exciting and ideal waterfowl hunting in the Central, Mississippi and Pacific flyways of Alberta, Canada for ducks and geese. The area boasts Greater Canada Geese up to 14 pounds. With such ideal feeding grounds, huge flocks will remain from September 1st until mid November. During September and October there is a large migration of White-fronted geese, Blue and Snow geese, in addition to the big Canada's and Green-head Mallard ducks and Pintail ducks, providing a great variety of waterfowl hunting opportunities.
