A typical day Goose and Duck hunting with Wild Goose Guiding. Hunt Canadian Geese, White-fronted Geese, Snow Geese and Ducks in the heart of Alberta Canada's Central, Mississippi and Pacific Flyways!

Goose hunts will usually be held once a day, either in the morning or the afternoon, depending on the patterns of the birds. The rest of the day may be duck hunting, trapshooting or hunting upland birds.

The actual hunting takes place in pea and grain fields, with a large spread of quality decoys and a fully portable blind. Often mallard ducks and pintail ducks are coming into the same fields as the geese which makes duck hunting even better!  Hunters will be grouped a minimum four to six (4-6) to a hunt. If you have any preferences or special requests we will be happy to accommodate you to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

After the hunt we will return to the lodge for a delicious home cooked dinner and an evening of relaxation. Our lodge is located right on Hardisty Lake where you will have the opportunity to see thousands of local and migrating Canada geese and ducks. You can enjoy a relaxing evening in our sauna or playing a game or two of pool. We can accommodate 8-10 hunters comfortably if you have a large group.

We offer 3 day waterfowl hunting trips starting Monday - Wednesday and the second half of the week, Thursday - Saturday.

Typical Itinerary for our Goose and Duck Hunts
Sunday	Two hour scenic drive to Hardisty - plan on arriving at the lodge between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. Field trip to view birds - time permitting Evening Dinner
Monday	Light breakfast (early) Goose hunts may be in the morning or afternoon depending on the patter of the birds and weather conditions Brunch - 11:00am 2:00pm - travel to the hunting area and set up for afternoon hunt. Birds arrive around 5:00pm After hunt return to the lodge for dinner
Tuesday	Similar Itinerary as Monday
Wednesday	Morning hunt Brunch 10:00am Check out of the lodge around 11:00am

Alberta Regulations allow us to hunt mornings or afternoons!
